At under 3,000 lbs, the 189DD is easy to tow yet manages to fit in a full bath that owners consistently call out as genuinely roomy for a trailer this size. The tankless water heater is a standout inclusion at this price point, no cold showers waiting for a tank to recover. Gulf Stream bundles in a power awning, 13,500 BTU roof AC, 20,000 BTU furnace, and a 2-burner gas cooktop with microwave as part of the required camping package, so the base unit is reasonably well-equipped out of the gate. The Rocky Mountain Edition adds knobby tires and upgraded wheels, giving it a slightly more rugged look than your typical entry-level lightweight.
