At under 3,000 lbs, the 189DD is one of those rare trailers that genuinely opens up towing to a wide range of vehicles without sacrificing livability. The front Queen bed and rear full bath layout keeps the living space in the middle, anchored by a booth dinette and a tankless water heater that eliminates the cold-shower problem on longer trips. Gulf Stream includes a 13,500 BTU roof air conditioner and 20,000 BTU furnace as standard, so you're not shopping for comfort upgrades right out of the gate. The Rocky Mountain Edition package adds overslung axles and knobby tires, giving it a bit more capability on rougher campground roads than its light weight might suggest.
