The 285DB's party trick is fitting 10 sleeping spots into a lightweight travel trailer that won't demand a heavy-duty tow vehicle, a tough combination to find at this price point. The double-bunk setup gives the layout real versatility for larger groups. Gulf Stream's Kingsport Ultra Lite line earns points for value and livable floor plans, though the broader Kingsport lineup has a mixed reputation for build consistency, so a thorough pre-purchase inspection. Particularly around seams and windows. Is time well spent. If the unit checks out, it delivers a lot of bunk-bed real estate and towability for the money.
