The optional drop-down cab-area bunk, rated to 750 pounds, is one of the Alante 31P's most talked-about features, and it pairs well with the trifold couch and Queen bed to make the layout work for larger groups without feeling cramped. Jayco loads the coach with genuine conveniences: dual 11,000-BTU A/Cs, a 4,000-watt Onan generator, automatic hydraulic leveling jacks, and an exterior entertainment center with a swivel-mounted LED TV. The Jayco-exclusive Garmin infotainment system powered by Fusion, backup and sideview cameras, and the JRide suspension package with SACHS shocks add a level of polish you don't always find at this price point in a gas Class A. Owners consistently highlight the storage and drivability of the Ford F53 chassis with its 6.8L Triton V-10, though it's worth planning for a shakedown period, as fit-and-finish attention varies from unit to unit.
