At 29 feet on Ford's F-53 chassis, the Newmar Bay Star Sport 2812 hits a size that owners repeatedly describe as easy to drive while still feeling roomy inside. An optional drop-down bunk over the driver and passenger seats lets it sleep four without giving up floor space, and Newmar's Masterpiece full-body paint and BriteTEK walkable roof bring some higher-end touches to a compact Class A. Buyers can dress it up with hydraulic leveling jacks, dual heat-pump A/C with a 5.5 kW generator and 50-amp service, and a 1000-watt inverter wired to the TVs. It carries the livable, well-laid-out reputation Newmar is known for in a practical package that works well for couples or a small family.
