The Forester 3161S is a single-slide Class C that owners consistently rate highly for its layout and road manners, even as broader Forester quality control gets more mixed marks. On the practical side, it arrives well-equipped: the arctic package and 30,000 BTU furnace make cold-weather camping a real option, the A&E electric awning and slide-out awnings add covered outdoor space, and lockable pass-through storage compartments handle gear without eating into living space. The galley punches above its class with a three-burner range, microwave, flip-up countertop extensions, and residential-style cabinetry with solid wood fronts. A 5,000 lb tow hitch with a 7-pin connector means the Forester 3161S can bring a small vehicle or toy hauler along for the ride.
