The bunk over cab is the obvious headline, but the 27DSE earns attention for how much it includes out of the box, 190-watt roof solar, 12V heated tank pads, a 4.0KW gas generator, and a heat pump ceiling A/C make it a capable four-season rig without a long options list. The kitchen punches above its class with a 10.7 cu. ft. 12V refrigerator, convection microwave, and a wireless charging pad built into the counter. A 10" Apple CarPlay/Android Auto touch screen, back-up and side-view cameras, and Bilstein shocks round out a cab area that's notably well-appointed for the segment. Renters who've taken it out consistently report more usable space than they expected. The laminated aluminum-framed sidewalls and one-piece fiberglass front cap help give it a solidity that matches that impression.
