The 22J makes a strong case for compact Class C living, built on a Ford E-450 chassis with a 7.3L V-8 pushing 350 horsepower and 468 ft.-lb. of torque. Plenty of muscle for mountain passes or long highway pulls. Jayco's StrongholdVBL vacuum-bond laminated construction keeps things solid and well-insulated (up to R-24 in the roof), while inside you get 84-inch ceilings, hardwood cabinet doors, and pleated blackout shades that make the space feel more intentional than the footprint might suggest. The full bath, Onan 4,000-watt generator with auto-changeover, and a built-in exterior utility center mean you're not giving up much in the way of functionality despite the shorter length. Solar prep and optional hydraulic leveling jacks give you room to build this one out for longer off-grid stays.
