Built on a Chevrolet 4500 chassis with a 6L Vortec V8, the 23X2 is one of those Class C rigs that earns its reputation for being easy to drive and surprisingly stable on the highway, a big deal if you're newer to motorhoming. The cab-over bunk (rated to 750 pounds) adds serious sleeping flexibility without eating into the living space, and the full bath keeps everyone from fighting over the bathroom. Jayco's JRide suspension package. Hellwig helper springs, front and rear stabilizer bars, rubber isolation mounts. Does a lot of the heavy lifting to smooth out the ride, and the heated holding tanks and bead-foam insulation mean you're not stuck camping in perfect weather. The 1,000-watt inverter and Onan 4,000-watt generator round out a setup that genuinely handles off-grid overnights without a lot of fuss.
