The Chariot Eagle Eagle Series 486 is built noticeably heavier than most destination trailers, with 10" I-beams, 2x6 floor joists, 3/4" tongue-and-groove plywood flooring, and 30-year architectural shingles on the roof. That R-30 roof and R-19 floor insulation, combined with the cathedral ceiling running throughout, gives the interior a genuinely roomy, residential feel rather than the cramped-overhead look you get in a lot of park models. The living area comes ready for comfortable long-term stays, with a sleeper sofa on an innerspring mattress, a swivel rocker chair, and a butterfly dinette with two chairs. In the bedroom, a 60"x80" Queen bed sits alongside a mirrored wardrobe with drawers, and the kitchen is stocked with a frost-free refrigerator, a 30" gas range, and a stainless steel sink with ceramic backsplash.
