The SSL's signature feature is that 8x8 front storage deck with a 1,300 lb capacity. It's the kind of toy-hauler bonus you don't usually find on a hybrid expandable. Inside, the electric slide opens things up considerably, and the kitchen punches above its class with a three-burner high-output gas range, gas oven, and double-door auto gas/electric refrigerator. Fold-out ends sleep up to six, each with a heated mattress, bunk fan, and its own light. More thoughtful than most in this category. The off-road package, WiFi booster, outside griddle with LP hookup, and ground solar prep make it easy to take farther off the beaten path without feeling like you're roughing it.
