Dutchmen Astoria Half-Ton 298BH

The 298BH earns attention as a rare half-ton towable fifth wheel that doesn't skimp on sleeping capacity. Triple bunks in the rear bunkhouse plus a private north/south bedroom up front means nine people can actually sleep comfortably without anyone drawing the short straw. The bunkhouse has its own bathroom access even with the slides in, which matters more than most people realize until they're dealing with a 2am situation. Inside, the farmhouse sink and L-shaped dinette give the kitchen area a more residential feel than you'd expect at this price point, and the washer/dryer prep is a practical touch that sets it apart from comparable layouts. Fiberglass exterior construction is a genuine plus for longevity and weight management when you're working within half-ton tow ratings.
