The 26RD flips the typical fifth wheel layout by putting the King bed up front and the social space in the rear, where a U-shaped dinette anchors a kitchen with a farmhouse sink, gas cooktop, and a full 10.7 cu ft 12V refrigerator. The electric fireplace with thermostat and remote adds a genuinely cozy touch, and the on-demand tankless water heater means you're not rationing hot showers. Forest River builds the Cardinal line with vacuum-bonded aluminum structure and residential fiberglass insulation throughout. Owners consistently note it handles cold winters well and tows comfortably behind a half-ton. Practical details like huge lift-up booth dinette storage, massive pass-through storage, and washer/dryer prep make it easy to actually live in.
