The Forest River Cherokee 285BS packs a surprising amount of living space into a bunkhouse fifth wheel, anchored by a flush-floor slide with a U-shaped dinette and those taller-than-average 5'11" slide rooms that keep the interior from feeling cramped. The bedroom comes with a heated King bed, a welcome touch for cold-weather camping. Inside, solid wood cherry cabinet doors, cathedral overhead cabinets in the kitchen and living area, and residential self-edged radius countertops elevate the look beyond what the price tag might suggest. On the practical side, large pass-through storage and a patio awning with drip rails handle the outdoor logistics, while a double-door refrigerator and carousel microwave round out a fully functional kitchen setup.
