The Grand Design Solitude 390RK-R puts the kitchen at the rear, a layout choice that opens up the living area in a way that owners consistently describe as residential and genuinely comfortable for two people living full-time or long-term on the road. Storage is a standout feature, and the overall livability scores among Solitude buyers on RV Insider are among the highest in the luxury fifth-wheel segment. Grand Design backs the unit with a customer service reputation that's earned real loyalty, and many owners say the 390RK-R is the best floor plan they've owned. Worth knowing: the on-demand water heater can take a moment to deliver hot water, a small trade-off that comes up in owner reviews.
