Putting the kitchen at the rear is a deliberate choice here. It creates a surprisingly social cooking space and frees up the front of the rig for a proper bedroom retreat. The 12-volt compressor fridge keeps things cold without the fuss of traditional absorption cooling, and the outdoor kitchen means you're not hauling gear every time you want to cook outside. Forest River loaded the 261RK with features that usually cost extra elsewhere: automatic leveling, a backup camera, and 100 watts of solar all come standard. The insulated sidewalls and heated underbelly make this one a genuine three-season rig, not just a fair-weather camper.
