The rear living layout is the real draw here. Instead of the typical rear bedroom setup, the 298SRL puts the lounge at the back, which opens up the feel of the whole rig in a way that's hard to appreciate until you're standing inside it. Owners consistently call out the storage as a highlight, and the outdoor cooking and tailgating features make it easy to set up camp without hauling extra gear. On the road, it tows predictably for its size, which longtime Laredo owners frequently mention as a confidence booster. Build quality can vary unit to unit, so a thorough pre-delivery inspection goes a long way with this one.
