The Coachmen Catalina SBX 231RB is a rear-bath travel trailer that earns its keep on the tow rating and layout front. The SBX edition package comes loaded with a power awning with LED lighting, ducted 13,500 BTU A/C, a DSI water heater, and a skylight above the tub and shower, features that would cost extra on competing units at this price point. Inside, the living room stretches to a 78-inch ceiling height, a jack knife sofa converts for sleeping, and an easy-view picture window brightens the dinette area. Two shirt closets with mirrors, under-bed storage, and nightstands with outlets round out the rear bedroom in a practical way. Coachmen positions the Catalina SBX as a value-forward line, and owners consistently back up the towability and floorplan logic, so going in with realistic expectations on fit and finish is worthwhile.
