The Forest River R-Pod RP-173T squeezes a surprising amount of functionality into a compact, easy-to-tow package, with sleeping for five, a wet bath with integrated toilet, and a dinette that converts for extra sleeping. The welded aluminum sidewalls with laminated construction keep weight in check, which means more tow vehicles can handle it comfortably. An optional R-dome awning with screen room extends the living space outside, and the independent torsion suspension makes for a smoother ride on less-than-perfect roads. Owners of the R-Pod line consistently praise the lightweight convenience, and the RP-173T delivers that in a layout that handles weekend trips without a lot of setup fuss.
