The Forest River Wildwood 27RE flips the typical travel trailer script by putting the living area in the rear, which opens up a surprisingly roomy, social space anchored by a lock-and-groove shiplap kitchen island. Two slides stretch things out further, and recent redesigns brought in JBL interior and exterior speakers, 4K blade lighting under the awning, and TFL cabinet doors that give the interior a noticeably more finished look. A 60,000 BTU on-demand tankless water heater is a standout for this price range, and the backlit arched radius bathroom mirror, expanded kitchen window, and Versa-Flex furniture round out a layout that punches above its class. The Wildwood 27RE rewards buyers who prioritize floorplan and features at value pricing, and pairing it with a dealer known for thorough pre-delivery inspections tends to set owners up for a smoother experience.
