The Heartland Trail Runner TR 199 BHSS earns consistent praise for how spacious it feels given its compact footprint, with a bunkhouse layout and full bath that make it a practical hauler for a crowd. Owners frequently call out the floorplan itself as a highlight, and the lightweight build keeps it accessible to a wide range of tow vehicles. It's positioned squarely as a budget-friendly entry point, so expectations around fit and finish should be set accordingly. Heartland's Trail Runner line has a mixed quality reputation, and going in with a solid pre-delivery inspection checklist will serve you well.
