The Jayco Hummingbird 17FD earns consistent praise for how effortlessly it tows, and the floor plan makes good use of its footprint with a Queen bed, full bath, and a dinette that converts for additional sleeping. Jayco's Stronghold VBL vacuum-bonded laminated construction and a one-piece fiberglass roof give it a solid foundation for a trailer in this weight class. Standard equipment goes well beyond the basics, including a power awning with LED lighting, power tongue jack, convection microwave, and an enclosed underbelly with Astro-Foil insulation. For weekend getaways where quick setup matters, the Hummingbird 17FD keeps things simple without stripping out the comforts.
