The Fleetwood Discovery LXE 44H is built around a Cummins ISL9 450HP engine pushing 1,150 lb-ft of torque through an Allison 3000 six-speed, riding on a Freightliner custom chassis with a steerable tag axle for a 60-degree turning radius that defies its 44-foot footprint. Inside, the kitchen earns its "residential" label with a French-door refrigerator, induction cooktop, convection microwave, and solid surface countertops backed by glass tile, while Aqua Hot hydronic heat keeps the porcelain tile floors warm without the noise of a forced-air furnace. The Freedom Bridge cockpit adds Roadwire six-way power seats, dual dash monitors, and fully integrated steering wheel controls, so long driving days feel less like work. Full-pass-through exterior storage with a 90-inch slideout tray, a standard 8kW Onan generator, and an exterior entertainment center with a 48-inch TV and JBL soundbar round out a coach that owners consistently describe as genuinely easy to live in on the road.
