The U-shaped dinette is the social hub of this layout. Generous enough to actually seat the whole group, yet tucked into a footprint that makes the 22R one of the more manageable Class Cs to drive and park. Winnebago builds this one on a Ford E450 chassis with a 7.3L V8 and TorqShift 6-speed, and owners consistently single out the driving dynamics as a standout. Smooth, planted, and confidence-inspiring in a way that bigger rigs rarely are. The over-cab bunk adds sleeping space without eating into the living area, and the fiberglass roof is the kind of detail that separates Winnebago's construction from many competitors. Standard kit includes a 4,000-watt generator, a 1,000-watt inverter, Corian countertops, and a full suite of Ford's driver-assist tech including adaptive cruise, automatic emergency braking, and lane departure warning.
