What sets the 496/1 apart from typical towables is the house-style construction: 2x6 floor joists, 10" I-beams, R-30 roof insulation, and 30-year architectural shingles overhead. Details you'd expect in a stick-built structure, not a trailer. Cathedral ceilings run throughout, and the 8-foot sidewalls keep things feeling open rather than cramped. The living area comes equipped with a sleeper sofa with an innerspring mattress, a swivel rocker, and a butterfly dinette with two chairs, while the kitchen gets a frost-free refrigerator, 30" gas range, and a ceramic-tiled backsplash. The Queen bed (60"x80") in the bedroom sits alongside a mirrored wardrobe with drawers, and the bathroom features a one-piece fiberglass tub or shower with a handicap grab bar, a thoughtful touch that adds long-term usability.
