Forest River Cherokee 285B

The Forest River Cherokee 285B leads with a lot of interior for the money: solid cherry wood cabinet doors and drawer fronts, granite-look countertops, a breakfast bar with bar stools, and taller-than-average 5 ft. 11 in. slide rooms that open the living space up considerably. Skylights over the dinette and sofa are a nice touch, and the U-shaped dinette with a sliding tabletop gives flexible seating for a crowd. On the kitchen side, you get a three-burner high-output cooktop with oven, a double-door refrigerator, and a carousel microwave. The Cherokee 285B is best suited to occasional family camping rather than full-time or hard-use trips, as owner feedback on the Cherokee line consistently points to build quality that reflects its value price point.
