The Forest River Cherokee 295U is built around a layout that accommodates a crowd, sleeping up to seven with a bunkhouse configuration that owners consistently praise for making smart use of space. The kitchen is well-appointed for the price range, with Corian-style countertops, a three-burner high-output cooktop with oven, a double-door refrigerator, and solid wood cherry cabinet doors and drawer fronts throughout. A U-shaped dinette anchors the slide-out, which features skylights with a shade overhead and a flush floor transition that keeps the living area feeling open. Taller 5-foot-11-inch slide rooms add to the sense of space, and the included patio awning, satellite-ready setup, and AM/FM/CD/DVD stereo with MP3 hookup round out a feature list that competes well at this price point.
