The Shasta Phoenix 381RE flips the typical fifth wheel layout by putting the living area at the rear, which opens things up and gives the space a more relaxed, residential feel. Owners frequently highlight how livable the floor plan is, and many report it tows smoothly for its size. The 381RE tends to attract buyers looking for a lot of layout at a reasonable price point, and on that front it generally delivers. Quality control has been inconsistent across units, so a thorough pre-delivery inspection is worth the extra time before you hit the road.
