The mid-kitchen layout is the real story here. By pulling the kitchen out of the slide and centering it in the floorplan, Grand Design carves out a proper bedroom in the back and a comfortable living space up front without feeling cramped. Owners consistently call out the big windows and generous storage as highlights, and after a year on the road many report only minor warranty work. Grand Design's customer support has a solid reputation for backing the Transcend line, which helps offset the entry-level price point.
