The FR3 28DS is built around a clever use of space: a power fold-away overhead bunk with ladder keeps the front open when you don't need it, while the wrap-around dinette booth and jackknife sofa give the living area real flexibility for a group of five. The outside entertainment center with marine-grade speakers and TV makes the patio awning setup genuinely usable, and the rear "super storage" compartment is a standout for a coach this size. Forest River equips the FR3 28DS with a Pioneer dash entertainment system with Bluetooth and mirror-link navigation, heated power mirrors, and color back-up and side cameras, so the cockpit punches above its entry-level price point. Owners consistently call out good road visibility and easy driveability as highlights, and the cherry cabinetry with brushed nickel fixtures gives the interior a cleaner look than you'd expect at this price.
