The Forest River Berkshire 390BH earns its reputation as a roomy diesel pusher by combining a serious Freightliner XC raised-rail chassis with a Cummins ISB 6.7L turbo diesel, 340 HP, 660 ft-lbs of torque, and an Allison 2500MH 6-speed automatic, making highway miles genuinely comfortable. Neway air suspension front and rear, Sachs custom-tuned shocks, and a 55-degree wheel cut give the Berkshire 390BH handling that owners consistently praise. The bunkhouse layout sleeps six and can be optioned with a stackable washer/dryer, a freestanding dinette with hutch and four chairs, and an exterior entertainment center, giving the coach a residential feel. Forest River positions the Berkshire as a feature-rich value in the Class A diesel segment, and most owners point to liveability and driving comfort as the strongest arguments in its favor.
