The Berkshire XL 37A leads with a layout combination you don't see often: a rear bedroom paired with a bunk over the cab, giving two distinct sleeping zones without sacrificing the living space in between. Power comes from a Cummins ISL turbo diesel making 380 horsepower and 1,150 lb-ft of torque, backed by an Allison 3000MH six-speed transmission and a single-stage exhaust brake, so the driving experience holds up on grades and highway miles alike. The Carefree Latitude dual-pitch patio awning with a wind sensor, outdoor entertainment, and full-height pass-through storage compartments make the outside nearly as livable as the in. Owners consistently praise the Forest River Berkshire XL 37A for its road manners and spacious feel, and optional upgrades like lithium house batteries, an 800-watt solar package, and Starlink mean it can be built up to handle extended off-grid stretches.
