Built on a Freightliner XCR chassis with a Cummins ISL turbo diesel pushing 380 horsepower and 1,150 lb-ft of torque, the 40A is a serious road coach. Owners consistently praise how quiet and composed it feels underway, aided by Sachs custom-tuned shocks and V-Ride rear suspension. The full-body paint with four coats of clear coat gives it a presence that punches above its price point in the luxury diesel segment. Inside, the single-bath layout sleeps four and carries all the hallmarks of a livable long-haul coach: multiplex controls, tankless hot water, a Carefree patio awning with LED lighting and wind sensor, and full pass-through basement storage with strut-assisted doors. Optional upgrades like a stackable washer/dryer, satellite antenna, or a third A/C unit with the 10.0 kW generator let you tailor it for extended stays.
