Class a motorhomes that share features with the Berkshire XL 40C, like east west bed, king bed and bath and a half.
The 40C does something not many Class A layouts pull off cleanly: it fits a King bed, a bunk-over-cab, and dedicated bunk beds into a floor plan that still feels open, thanks to triple slides that transform the living area. The rear bath with a stackable washer/dryer connection is a genuine road-trip luxury, and the east/west King bed orientation gives the bedroom real bedroom proportions. Up front, the Freightliner XCR chassis with the Cummins ISL 380-hp diesel and Allison 3000MH transmission makes the 41-foot length manageable. Owners consistently note how composed it feels on the highway. Options like the 600Ah lithium battery bank, 800-watt solar package, and Starlink compatibility mean you can outfit this one to stay off-grid without giving up the comforts.
