The 40E's party trick is squeezing two full bathrooms and a proper bunk setup into a layout that still feels genuinely spacious. Owners consistently rave about the living area seating eight comfortably and the basement storage with sliding trays that actually hold gear. Under the hood, the Cummins ISL turbo diesel puts out 380 hp and 1,150 lb-ft of torque, paired with an Allison 3000MH six-speed and the Freightliner XCR raised-rail chassis, a combination that makes 41 feet feel a lot more manageable on the road. The dual-pitch Carefree patio awning with wind sensor, full-body paint, and frameless dark-tint windows give it curb appeal to match the driving dynamics. Optional lithium batteries and an 800W solar package make extended off-grid stays a real possibility.
